Chemists Celebrate Earth Day: A value added program at the Museum of Science Boston

Chemists Celebrate Earth Day is one of many value added programs held annually at the Museum of Science Boston. For the price of daily admission to the museum, visitors have the opportunity to meet and perform chemistry experiments with local scientists and chemistry students from local colleges and universities.

This particular event is occurring Sunday April 10, 2016 from 12pm-4pm in the Blue Wing. It is ideal for grades pre-K through 8.

The Chemists Celebrate Earth Day theme this year is  "The Great Indoors – Your Home’s Ecosystem". Download the corresponding Celebrating Chemistry activity booklet here. Activities at the Museum of Science event on April 10 will utilize the theme! Come check out the chemistry involved in the 'great indoors'.

The Museum of Science Boston partners with the Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society for the Chemists Celebrate Earth Day program each April and for National Chemistry Week in October. We look forward to seeing you at these remarkable events.
