This system will prevent terrorists from smuggling contraband materials into the US.

PID presents joint paper with Suffolk University at Pittcon

At the 2009 Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy (Chicago, Il) a joint paper between PID Analyzers and Suffolk University entitled "Remote Wireless Monitoring of Methane from Landfills and Septic Discharges" . This involved real time monitoring of methane from septic discharges with a solar powered RF wireless methane sensor. The PC was located in a trailer about 200’ away. The testing was done at Barnstable County Experimental Septic Station located at Otis Air force Base on Cape Cod. The paper was presented at a poster session by the four undergraduate Physics students who worked on the project.

PID Analyzers Donates an SEM to Suffolk University

PID Analyzers donated an ISI Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to Suffolk University’s Department of Physics. Suffolk University now becomes one of the few Universities in the Boston area that has an SEM for undergraduate research projects. HNU & PID Analyzers have had a 25 year relationship with Suffolk that has involved internships, scholarships for the Physics and Engineering Departments, establishment of the Annual Spaziani award, input into program requirements, and research and joint development programs on sensor development.
