Laboratory Equipment - HNU Detectors Offer Added Sensitivity
Here is Jack's interview from the Pittcon Booth last week. He describes the 4th generation PID which was the subject of one of our contributed oral sessions in the Pittcon 2010 Technical Session on GC Detectors. As we were reviewing the the Technical Program prior to the show we realized that our oral session titled "A New PID for Trace Analysis" was only one of six papers focusing on GC Detectors; in fact, the plenary lecture focused on the "role of high-end instrumentation" ie) GC-MS-MS. Our Add-On detectors are for budget-minded labs, requiring high performance from their old Lab GC(s), with do-it-yourself real-time analytical results. So we created a GC Detectors Group on Pittconnect with the goal of creating a GC Detectors Symposia for the Pittcon 2011. We had our first GC Detectors Group meeting at Pittcon on Monday March 1, 2010 at our booth. We are looking for more gas chromatography loving folks who use, manufacture or sell GCs to join us in creating an exciting curriculm for our GC Detectors Symposia. We'll be holding monthly meetings by conference call or webinar. Let me know if you'd like to join us.
