My year in C&EN 2013

Below are the notable mentions that my father, our  company, our Local Section/Division and/or I received  in 2013 in Chemical and Engineering News. 
The two day symposium that I co-organized with members of the American Chemical SocietyAg and Food Division and AGRO Division, garnered media coverage by the ACS Pressroom as a featured Press Conference and Press Release as well as a C&EN Cover Story. A chemistry workshop for teachers at the 2014 Cambridge Science Festival

Updated on 5/1/20142014 Cambridge Science Festival  part of the programs for educators  I pitched this idea of a teachers-only event at the 2014 Cambridge Science Festival to the festival organizers and they loved it so much, they added several educator-only events to the slate!

We were the first up on festival opening night!

Dr. Al Hazari,  wowed participants  with his chemistry-based magic show and inspired them to bring these ideas, strategies and kitchen-chemistry experiments  to their students in their own teaching environment. 



Friday evening April 18, 2014 at The Broad Institute in Cambridge was an educational experience exclusive to teachers.
