Join me at the career workshop I'm facilitating at AAAS Boston 2017:
“Advancing your scientific career with personal branding and social media savvy,”

Friday, February 17, 2017: 10:30 AM-11:30 AM
Room 207 (Hynes Convention Center)

This science communication workshop explores the process of creating a personal brand and examines various social media platforms ideal for scientists to utilize. When used well and consistently, these forums can ultimately advance your science and your career. Specific social networking sites covered include: LinkedIn, ResearchGate, Twitter, Facebook, and blogs. Effective ways to communicate science and scientific research through informal environments such as science cafés, science festivals, meetups, and tweetups are also addressed.
